Here's a step by step guide to creating a listing. Although the video shows the iOS app, it works the same way on the web app.
Make sure you've created an account and confirmed your email address. Click here for help on that.
Click the "list a property" button OR the "+" button in the listings tab.
Enter the contact information for the listing. Click the right arrow to continue. Note: make sure the phone number does not contain any spaces or dashes.
Enter a Property Name. This is to help you and your future tenants easily identify your rentals. A good example would be "Allendale Basement Suite"
If it's an apartment, enter the Unit No. Otherwise skip to entering the address.
Enter the address and select the appropriate suggestion. It will automatically fill in all the other fields. Click the right arrow to continue.
Enter the details of the rental. Note: all fields with an * asterisk are mandatory and an option must be selected. Click the right arrow to continue.
Adding room information: if you are renting the entire unit, this is optional and you can skip it (go to step 10). If you are renting each room individually, click on "Add Room"
Enter the price for the first room, and if it is furnished or unfurnished. Also enter a room description like "Master bedroom with en suite bathroom". Click the right arrow to continue.
Click the camera icon to upload photos for that room only. When you're done, click "Add room" to finalize the process. If you have more rooms to add, repeat step 7-9 for each room.
Lease details: first choose the different lease lengths you're open to (4,6,8,12 months). Enter the price for the entire unit. If there's documents that you require, like a proof of employment, click on it and choose "Mandatory". Otherwise leave them as optional.
Lastly, add photos for the rental. Click on the camera icon, then select all the photos you want to add, then press Submit!
TADA! You're done! Your listing is edit and running.
